Functionality Overview

LADB integrates an ADB server within its application libraries. Typically, this server cannot establish a connection without an active USB link. However, with Android's Wireless ADB Debugging feature, both the server and client can communicate locally.

Initial Setup Instructions

To set up LADB effectively, it is recommended to utilize split-screen mode or a pop-out window to view both LADB and the Settings simultaneously. This is crucial as dismissing the dialog will invalidate the pairing information. Proceed to add a Wireless Debugging connection, then copy the pairing code and port into LADB. Ensure both windows remain open until the Settings dialog closes autonomously.

Compatibility Issues

Currently, LADB does not support Shizuku, which may impede proper connection when Shizuku is installed. To use LADB successfully, uninstall Shizuku and restart your device.

Troubleshooting Tips

Most issues can be resolved by clearing the app data for LADB, removing all Wireless Debugging connections from Settings, and rebooting your device.

Licensing Information

This project is released under the GPLv3 license. However, it is requested that unofficial user builds of LADB not be published on the Google Play Store.

Support for Manual Pairing

LADB’s Assisted Pairing mode may occasionally be unreliable with newer Android versions due to the device not recognizing available connections. In many instances, restarting the app can remedy this issue.

The following tutorial outlines a method to bypass Assisted Pairing mode and manually pair your device effectively:
